@MrPwnstar007 if you have a crossfire board you should get another 5970, then we’ll see who laughs last. You could play crysis 8 with that…

  3. sunofnothin says:

@abaj006 The 5970 is a dual GPU card. The 580 is a single GPU card, it wouldn’t be fair to compare the two.

  4. AAbed1984 says:

    @abaj006
The ATI 5970 is from the cards that i wish to buy.
For me the GTX 580, 480 & the ATI 5970 are the best.

  5. AAbed1984 says:

    The GTX 580 OWNS ! :D

  6. abaj006 says:

@skimowhite586 Yeah, for some reason most reviews seem to ignore the 5970, and dont mention that the 5970 is the most powerful GPU, not the GTX580.

  7. woodshuck says:

your description is wrong bro: its says 6750 ;)

    Blink dammit!

GTX 580 anyway does alright. But what one do you test? Hope it’s not EVGA hydro one:P But anyway after all it’s much more expensive in the long run because of power consumption. So if you can use 2 6959 or 6970 for same price…GTX 580 is not too good.

@skimowhite586 Dude it’s dual-GPU. This means less stability. I liked AMD but they cannot keep up anymore like the did with the 5870 before the Fermi. Buy the GTX 580. Only slightly slower without the driver issues. I bet it uses less power too than the 5970.

  14. kennylives09 says:

@MrPwnstar007 You had a lot of time between the release of the 5970 and the release of the 6990, which should be early 2011.

  16. IIZODIIAC says:

  17. IIZODIIAC says:

@MrPwnstar007 dont, there is no need for the 69+ series its just overkill but thats not to say i wont get it when its cheap : )

  18. TeChNiQuEVx6 says:

gus, i dont know if its true but im hearing rumors that u can upgrade ur 6950 in 6970 ?????? is it true and how, if you know a website please post :)

  19. hiby555 says:

im planning on getting a 6950 to unlock to a 6970. should i get 6950 drivers before i unlock to a 6970 and then download 6970 drivers or just stay with the 6950 drivers

  20. deathflyer10 says:

this or the xfx radeon hd 6870 crossfire?

  21. hunkeelin says:

@MrPwnstar007 5970 been here for like a year or 2, u shouldn’t be buying the 5970 recently the first place.
