I think I saw some people working at Intel at this video.

    :P

  2. KingGreasy says:

i can’t wait to see what this has to come for laptops
I’ve been holding off because laptops with dedicated GPU’s are killer on battery life but maybe with this it won’t be so bad for a budget well performing laptop

@ps3universal Dude you have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA about AMD Fusion Technology. Ill give you one example though… how farmville has stuttering and lagging issues coz flash only uses CPU for rendering, now with the APU it will run smooooooth coz the APU = CPU + GPU . and all of this with lower power.

and who said youll have to switch both if you need to upgrade graphics?! In a 790GX mobo do you have to de-solder the IGP when ure gng for a discrete solution? :P lol! :D

@ArsenicAlchemist lol, they can beat nvidia, but with cpu’s intel will always be on tha top !

  5. ArsenicAlchemist says:

what the hell is up with all the triller links… what is the connection…?

  6. ArsenicAlchemist says:

@basje54321 Yeah, just like they could beat NVidia with their HD5970…
Oh, wait, they did! It is just a matter of time before AMD takes the CPU throne again… MARK MY WORDS!

  7. ArsenicAlchemist says:

That was awesome guys. You should do more shorts like this.

@Techgamehut The first wave is for the low end portables, but the wave of products coming later is aimed at the mid(Llano) and high(Zambezi) end computers.

  9. ViciousDave4Life says:

AMD has there own fact sheet that proves more physical cores is more powerful and efficient than the dual threading technology from Intel. AMD is the future, that’s why Apple has been in talks with AMD.

  10. muziqaz says:

@Billydexd well, to beat someone or something you need a bat or something ;)

@ps3universal I’m quite sure that future Fusion products will play nice with AMD graphics, in fact the small boost of the integrated graphics might just be what makes the AMD platform the one preferred by gamers when the more powerful APUs launch at the 2h of 2011. After all as most gamers know the GPU is more important than the CPU.

My enthusiasm is fueled by the idea that the Fusion program might unleash all the computers power and not just the CPU or GPU, something truly revolutionary.

    Lol nice

  18. paerchu says:

they should have hired chuck norris :) ) or LIAM neeson

  19. zlayzer says:

@ps3universal They will allow you to have several GPU cores along with several CPU cores on a single piece of silicon, thus reducing space required and also the power usage, which will be pretty damn good for a laptop and similar.

  20. Techgamehut says:

@ps3universal this is meant for Netbooks and Notebooks not Desktop PCs This is also very good!

  21. Melinon says:

Rofld when Dirk Meyer showed up. Seriously though it can’t really get any cheesier than this.

  22. Technofan23 says:

result of too much freetime and money (my opinion)
