Fraps as a FPS counter doesn’t work in 3d mark 11 ? ,Even in 1080p I can’t see the fps, which then makes kinda useless ,Other wise a good video!…

2 6970s doing 60fps? If so im not too impressed

  12. AgentHydra says:

I bet 6950 CFX is sweet… still $600 though, which is $600 more than I have right now lol

  13. Seraphim401 says:

They are not the fasted cards in the world, but the scale like hell!

  14. ddrmegamixer says:

I’m going for a 6950 then when I get a bulldozer chip, mobo and ram will grab another. They scale really well I think the single cards are still good for the money and will only get better as time moves along.

  15. HypnoticSuggestion says:

Wow, am I the only one that is quite a bit blown away, considering the single card performance? I did the math, watching closely, well the best I could given the circumstances, and….I have a very, very strong feeling that the single card performance of the 6970 is going to go up quite a bit, once the new drives are here, or rather, once some ‘solid’ drivers are here.

  16. rathy21 says:

@HypnoticSuggestion crysis will die when crysis 2 is realesed until then i think it should be used as most pc enthusiasts know of crysis and how demanding it was when it first came out :D

  17. rathy21 says:

informative as usual and nice to see MrStrawberry giving the mouse and keyboard some stick well done lads keep it up :D

  18. HypnoticSuggestion says:

What are your plans for the future as far as software, for testing these newer, second gen DX11 Gpu’s?

I think it’s time to say bye to crysis, which can’t take advantage of many of the great qualities of all the new amd 6xxx and Nv 5xx cards.

    I highly recommend Battlefield: Bad Company 2, it’s a fantastic DX11 engine.

  23. GoldenbanjoDJ says:

can i ask you mate, what branding of amd card do you reccomend?i’ve only had one graphics card in my year long craze as a pc ‘enthusiast’ (lol), and that was an xfx, but i really just want to know what you prefer and why? i know the differences are often minimal, but is there one diffrence that really jumps out when you select your brand?
thanks very much and good video, despite lack of sleep :)
