will the q9100 or the q9000 work on the dell studio 1737??? please help and reply
    socket p 478

  3. acefilms2008 says:

no what ur thinkin of is Turbo boost, and when you overclock it gets disabled

  4. psp271seb3 says:

@rmbrown09 phew.. that is too expensive for me.. Maybe I’ll just stay with my p8400. I mean it is quite okay. Would really like to get a better one but hmm.. that’s not woth it I guess..

  5. rmbrown09 says:

honestly Ebay will have the best results. You can buy it from a online store but processors are super spendy. you could spend 600 on a q9100.

  6. psp271seb3 says:

@rmbrown09 Hi, I have a board which supports the t9800, q9000 and q9100 (I know it from the manual xD)…

But where can I get one of those cpus ? As cheep as possible xD

The t9800 would be good enough, of course! Would’nt overclock mine…

    Greetz

  7. rmbrown09 says:

@psp271seb3 make sure your motherboard can support quad, just because you have the architecture, doesnt mean quad works.

    I had a 7805u p8400, but the highest i had available was a t9800 2.8 duo.

  8. Decenium says:

if you overclock, does it still clock down when you not need to speed?

  9. psp271seb3 says:

Hmm I’m currently thinking about getting this / another new cpu instead of my core 2 duo p8400 2,26 Ghz… I have a notebook with Intel PM 45 chipset so I think I could replace the current cpu…

But hmm. I mean the problem is not the price, it’s the question if it really makes that sence. I mean will it really make a big difference ?

  10. Cryp666 says:

nice vid and laptop but like all high-end gaming laptops thy cost way to much that your better off getting a desktop

  11. OJOSAZULESYMORADOS says:

    1068 FPS waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :O

  12. xDN41x says:

so what about new thermal compound..would be better…

and after "But can it run Crysis" theres Intel Quad-Core QX93000 Processor :D with one 0 too much :D

reasons to get 45 watt chips rather than 95 watt ones

the high frequency microwave heat and induced currents coming high power chips burn memory and motherboard components and even pop capacitors and components , and obviously dramatically reduce motherboard life span,
they also burn peripherals, 95 watt cpus also suffer much more latency and unstability under load often cause system freezes, crash and reboots, and make the system run awkward.
so a 45 watt TDP or lower is always best!.

since obama is pushin green tech! (witch is great) if he knew about this 45 watt quad core hed call intel and say guyss make all your quads 45 watts! why make consumers waist large amounts of cash on utility bills with 95 and 130watt powerdrainers when you can make em 45 watts..if tha qx9800 had no extreme tag on it it would be 350$ and i would own more than one! .

the intel QUAD CORE QX9300 is the best cpu intel has made period ! its efficient with only 45 watts (for a quad) it has an awesome L2 cache amount of 12 MB this chip actualy makes all other quad cores (intel or amd) desktop cpus a wretched value and power draining in comparison. (aside from its rich celebrity only price tag!)its a great chip! Desktop chips should be mobile chips too! @ 45 watts we dont need much steel shirlding ,so we can use lightweight acrylic cases rather than steel.ones

Cool! Seeing how this notebook was overclocked and cpu upgraded-I guess we don’t have to worry about heating issues huh? Heh heh heh Fugger?! who’s he? a goofball? Strange…How Intel is stepping forward…learned ’bout the Corei7 today and Fugger?!…did you see that fool messing around in the video very un professional…LOL I guess it’s cuz I was concentrating on AMD. I mean they FIRST invented this technology. Was someone fired from AMD then join Intel? or was it reverse enginering?U tellme

    hmm 3dmark 03 support quad cores ?

    Crysis support quad cores ?

Fps is all about video card , switching quad cores only helps a little.

    Overall , it’s a good video.

    5/5
