   the atom was actuley suposed to replace the sempron. but what is funny is the atom was invented bfor the spron and out praformed it then and was cheaper. but that decided to go with the sempron. the persion who made the sempron did not think. after all a k6-2 overclocked to its furest can out performance a sempron

   i`ve overclocked my sempron 3400+ from 1.8 Ghz to 2.5 Ghz

   it actually depends on ur motherboard, because 3400+ is quiet old, u may or maynot have hte early made boards that may have limitations.

   @Munchlax245 athlon x2 780 or 785g mobo, ddr2 ram, and a hd 5750, rest is ur choice or used ones from old pc

    DUDE i have EXACT SAME cpu even see my video but how? mine becomes unstable at 2.2ghz! how did you get nearly 2.6! btw i have 2007 hp compaq. it dont have the best cooling (44C-57C)

    i think he using ecs 6100sm-m like me, i can overclock with this board, although my cpu is runnin really cool, 35 celcius on no load, 40 on max the crap out of this thing
