    @kdawgmaster 10x a lot :)

  4. kdawgmaster says:

    @Sashev u can use any DDR2 ram but its better to get higher end ram that has a spe.ed of atleast 1066. I like corsair the best

  5. Sashev says:

    I got Asus P5Q-E + Q8200 @ 3.5 Ghz, it could go higher it all depends on memory at your cooling.

    I’ve got an ASUS P5KC MB and i just clocked my Q8200 to 3.1 GHz, i think that’s almost the maximum, maybe 3.13GHz. I got a Scythe Mugen 2 Rev. B, and The temperatures are between 49°C and 53°C on Toast, depending of the room temperature.

    @just0408 how much of an overclock will depend also on the cooling u have. having stronger cooling alows for better temps and that alows for a higher clock. make sure that when you overclock that you monitor the temps when playing games. and yes most of the time there will be a noticeable increase

    @kdawgmaster I have not much fps i guess around 35 when i low the graphic settings to 800×600 on low/medium, without AA or maybe 2x AA in DiRT2. And i have a ATI Radeon HD 3850 videocard which i did ‘overdrive’ with the ‘autotune’ option in the Catalyst Control Center. But i was wondering what the effects will be if i succesfully overclock my CPU to 3,3 GHz or so. I already want to play Codemasters F12010 as smooth as possible.

  14. kdawgmaster says:

    @just0408 whats ur FPS now and whats ur graphics card.

    i also have the Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2,33 Ghz, is it completely save to overclock my processor likewise? And will i notice severe difference with some intensive games like DIRT2?

  22. kdawgmaster says:

    @Chillehhhh mine runs fine but when it comes to overclocking there is no recommended as the companies cant ensure that it will work overclocked.

  23. Chillehhhh says:

  24. kdawgmaster says:
