The Ultimate CPU Overclocking Guide!
www.newegg.com AMD announced the launch of their Radeon HD 6000 series tomorrow, and already has two versions of the card available the Radeon HD 6850 and the Radeon HD 6870. We got a sneak peek last week at AMDs 6000 series launch party in Los Angeles, and we want to share some of our exclusive footage and interviews with our YouTube fans. Enjoy! @skimowhite586 Damn that is nice 6850 1080p Dx11 25fps.
I used my dell XPS Studio ATI 5730 1280*600 Dx 10/9 Max, I got like 25-40fps.
About the color, I think you could set it from your monitor or the Catalyst driver? Because that is what I do here with my laptop.
What I dont like about AMD is the Movie video quality. The shadow in the movie doesn’t fall-off. Do you know what i mean by fall-off? Fall-off is like when the color going from dark to light and vice versa. It looks sharp like a knife
@MaloEdu thank you i know right the only probelm i have with min ethough is the shadoew the y move when mouse moves up and down weird but thats just dirvers oh and their is somthing about amd scolors they are brighters than nvida nvida is more darakish and amd is brightish takes fun away in dark mood games like metro 2033, but i get 25fps on 1080p maxed out dx11 tes and dof on and very high 16texturea 4msa thats with teh hd 6850 sapphire stock ok you get were i am going here
@skimowhite586 Yeah I agree. But I think about the price is already a common sense. I think most people already knows that AMD GPUs are for Enthusiast Gamer with a budget.
But yeah, your point is right too. He should mention about the price/performance.
Cheers
Funny how AMD bought ATi and their only good stuff is ATi since their CPUs are behind, at least they have good prices.
still cant believe hd didnt use price for reason 3
I never saw 6000 coming so soon. I hope they develop the new 33nm or 22nm GPU process soon and launch new 6000 series cards with that technology. DX12 is another thing I’m waiting for.
@MetalPower86 Correct, however the cards are nearly the same in performance. The 5870 gets an average advantage of ~1-5fps yet costs about $100-150 more than the 6870. It works out to be a MUCH better deal to go with the 6870.
@MetalPower86 i saw the comparison yesterday and the hd5870 is still faster, hd6870 is very close to gtx 470 when both at stock and overclocked, but when with crossfire setup vs sli gtx 470, amd 6870 is faster… check on google something like GTX460 vs hd6870
Silly AMD Trying to Take Credit, ATi is making all the Video Cards (though AMD Bought ATi back in 2006)
And back in August,AMD Rebranded Future Video Cards as "AMD" instead of "ATi".
hi , on your site what is the currency of the items on newegg.com .thanx
@MetalPower86 Yes. The 6870 is weaker. There fore cheaper.
Hell yeah!
ok did I hear him right though? the 6870 is going to be priced around 200 dollars? and im guessing the 5870 is still going to be a faster card though? im confused
@thelegendbullet937 yeah he definitely has a hella cool job
I still want ur job -.- lol
He counted 4…
@keyboardblackbelt Newegg’s American, NCIX is Canadian?
should have asked them if they are going to improve the stream sdk.
Matt Skynner: "reason number 2…. increased eyefinity and uhhh EASE of u-"
Paul: "wtf?" *turns head in surprise*
I came loads
When can newegg get sapphire, gigabyte, and powercolor brand version of the 6850 back in stock?
