@LinusTechTips I bought this motherboard and the MSI P55-GD65 motherboard after your unboxing videos, MSI’s motherboards are phenomenal and perform really well with awesome overclocking potential. Good video and channel.

MSI han been known to have defective bios issues. I have used 4 different MSI boards and each one was had downfalls in bios settings that just don’t work. It effects the performance and use. Whats worst by the time MSI offered a correction it was beyond a newer CPU or memorey was available. Like Saying I bought a Athlon 939 FX and could not unlock the multipliesrts on a NF4Ultra, since bios update 1 year and 3 months, AM2 ddr2 is on the market. Thats routine to MSI.

@Icenstoiler its a way of updating your BIOS, sometimes flashing your BIOS can fix compatibility issues with new hardware like graphics cards, some mainboards allow you to use USB’s to flash the BIOS but if your going go buy a MSI mainboard then you wont have to worry since you just go to their website and click on live update and they do the work for you

@F4H33M97 If you OC or change something in the BIOS and the computer doesn’t POST (that little beep you hear before it boots), you just press it or switch it and everything goes back to default values.

yes You can but only by OC. standard is max 1333mhz, everything above that value is as a result of oc. (check its specs on their main web site )
