@Kthulhu666 Maybe, maybe not. Anyways, if you want to lower power consumption then get a 80+ Certified gold psu, like this one. CORSAIR Professional Series AX750 750W 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply. From newegg.
thanks for the review, just wondering how you made your computer case/rack in the background of this video? cheers in advance.
2:47 XD
Im gona buy it but im worried about overclocking never done it, 3.2 ghz would be enough for me, any way you could help?
Excellent review mate, mine arrives on tuesday, cant wait
So how do I increase the voltages – at once ore by small incrementals? Cuz I dont want to fry my cpu
I have this chip..buyed it before seeing this video..now im happy bout the chip ^^
@teckim At 4ghz that is
@TimeToLiveCustoms So what did you have your IMC at if i may ask?
Thnx
@Kthulhu666 it will make minimal difference to your wallet in that respect dude. Im really not a fan of Hyper PSU’s so tbh Id deffo tell you to replace that.
Awesome review mate! I just wonder though how much will the 4gz oc will increase the consumption, because as a student who lives alone I cant help worrying about the electricity bill. Also, will my Hiper TypeR 580W psu handle the load , along with a radeon 6870?
@kiirshio overclocking creates heat dude so its always best to get an aftermarket cooler. Once you get the rig you will just have to work out yourself how you want to ballence the BCLK and multiplier with the memory dividers to get the clock settings you want. Its easier once you have the parts and you will be able to see
m and stock cooler? Or Isit a must for cooling fans?
Isit possible to overclock till 3.5ghz for daily usage with 1333mhz 4gb ra

Naughty naughty
You cracked stalker :0
Wait i misderstood something…the original clock per core is 2.8GHz yes? And you overclocked each core TOO 4GHZ!!!!
just bought the i5 760 before I saw this vid, sooo happy I did after seeing this:) got my subscription.
@DontQuestionTheiBex cheers dude
i love this guy (no homo), he speaks clearly and slowly so i can understand him. unlike all the other tech reviewers
@ImmortalUniverse Thanks a lot for your advice. I’m waiting to see what the prices of the new 6870 cards will be in my country, and then I’ll decide.
Thanks again.
@MSMSValve
the Gigabyte P55A-UD4P is indeed a nice motherboard.
i just checked it out .
it is very similar to the Asus P7P55D-E PRO .
they are around the same price over here.
you might wanna check out the Asus P7P55D-E PRO too.
goz it has AUTO overclock features in the bios .
a mem OK button which auto sets the mem settings to post normal.
it also has crossfire/SLI.
USB 3.0 and SATA 6GB/s.
and i like asus because of the quiet fan options (Q-fan control).
mem hyperX suppport.
@MSMSValve
and to be honest ,i would rather buy kingston hyperX 4GB ddr3 2000/2100/2200 mhz
then 6GB of kingston or OZC ddr3 1600 mhz
you dont need 6GB yet .
and dual channel works perfect too on a tripple channel mobo.
so i would rather buy 4GB and get the maximum speeds and lowest latency.
you get a stable overclock with better Rams.
thats why i said kingston hyperX
they are cheap and very very good with latency and speed.
@MSMSValve
ok this is what im thinking but others might disagree..
the Amd 6800 series = the HD 5700 series
the Amd 6900 series = the HD 5800 series
also the GTX 460 get less hot then the GTX 470 & GTX 480 goz it came out later with a new technology .
i believe you should choose the GTX 460 ,it is faster then a HD 5850
also on dx 11 .
and the GTX 460 has options for SLI
nvidea SLI is better then radeon’s crossfire X
also the nvidea Physx looks better on a nvidea card
@ImmortalUniverse Thanks.
I agree with you.
Now there is a new "problem". AMD’s 6870 just came out, and they look to be superior to the 460 1gb in most cases. But the 460 price went down… more dilemmas
I guess I’ll wait a bit longer and see how things come along with the GPUs prices. I hope to be able to purchase the X58, 930, with 6GB of ram (they aren’t that expensive). I may need to go with a smaller monitor though (23" instead of a 24").
Getting a new rig has become complicated

Nice, I got an "old" i5-750 and I was amazed how easy it was to get it on 4ghz. Runs a little hotter than this one like 70C on load, and that with a really cheap cooler, the Coolermaster hyper 212+ amazing performance for the money.
