@ArmaniAttack He is being a douche, but I have to admit that is very, VERY surprising that you’re trying to upgrade your computer when you don’t know what the CPU does…I mean this is very basic, elementary stuff.
The CPU is the "brain" of your computer, it does all the computations and it plays the largest role in how fast your computer is. If you want to play games or use programs that require a ton of horsepower, you’ll need a powerful CPU.
@tylerfb11 thats why im asking douche. I already know my comp. processor doesn’t meet requirments for some of the things i want to do but i dont know exactly what it does exactly that improves teh PC.. when you are off your period respond then please.
@ArmaniAttack Really? Your trying to upgrade computer and you dont even know what it does? go learn some theory before you atempt to do any practical work on a computer.
It only takes a few minutes with Google to figure these things out.

@sonicdaguy Im not a pro at computers but im pretty sure you can. Just make sure your motherboard will support the new CPU, if you have an older comp with an older motherboard, make sure it can support a new AMD/Intel chip.

Hear grease stuff is not necessary if you buy a good fan or water-cooling. Actually before this video I didn’t even know that stuff had existed. I have used many processors and only changed when they go out of date.
