    ti have the same cpu… is urs water cooled? can u run at 3.8ghz for long periods on stock coolers?

  2. deluxedookie says:

    @chamilitary999

    72*C max

  3. dantov22 says:

    sooooo i can do this with my alienware?

  4. chamilitary999 says:

    What is the maximum température of this CPU ?

  5. mixmaxdix says:

    @LaczupakabraPL dont think the h50 is loud… by the way he cools better than the noctua d14h or something like that i guess….

  6. LaczupakabraPL says:

    @mixmaxdix Go with one of the gigabyte p55 boards and don’t buy the h50… is so laud! H70 or Noctua air cooler is the way to go. Dominator ram… hmmm better buy some ocz or g.skill if you take gigabyte board and first take 4gigs, test it (OC) and than try 8. Good luck

  7. mixmaxdix says:

    @LaczupakabraPL i am planning in buying either the i7 860 or the i5 760 and overclock it… The cooler that i´m planning using is a corsair h50.
    Now i would like a good motherboard to go with that would give me a good stable overclock with usb3… it doesnt need to support sli or crossfire…
    What would you recomend?
    thankyou

    by that way : the rest of the specs, cm cosmos 1000, cm silent pro m600, gtx460 768mb, corsair dominator 8 gigs…

    i am running a I7 860 on a trinergy wtih a single LC loop for cooling. im running stable at 4.8 Ghz and around 2100Mhz on my ram.
    kingston memory with ram cooler
    my LC system is not a kit but peaced together from various parts

    @blak2650

    85c is way to high i suggest you get a watercooler

    30c idle here and max stressed 55c

    also i would check if your cooler is mounted correctly your 85c is way to high

  10. brainstormnl says:

    @catalya11

    try setting your memory to 1.62volt

  11. catalya11 says:

    I have the same mobo and cpu. My RAM is 4GB DDR3 1600 @ 1.65 volts. When i use oc genie i only reach 3.41Ghz . So can i just copy your manual oc settings to get a higher cpu frequency ?

  12. iFischer08 says:

    @LaczupakabraPL How high can you OC it with the gigabyte board?

  13. brainstormnl says:

    You beter get watercooling i would not oc it too high on air coolers.

  14. blak2650 says:

    @olivierhacking you need a special cooler i got a special cooler and put my cpu to 3,5GHZ and it gets 85 degrees (celsius)

  15. blak2650 says:

    YOU ONLY HAVE TO Adjust CPU Base Frequency and then check how warm your cpu gets when it reach 100%

    Czesc od Ameryce! Bilem w polsce na dzien nowej rudy……………… Super video!

  17. blak2650 says:

    i got this processor and this is my frequency 3522 mhz
    the tempature is max 70 degrease celcius

  18. hamsterwolf says:

    its the same company i think, i got a set o ripjaws running in my rig when u first pop em in they run at 1333 but they can be safely be speed up to 1600 i have a p55m-gd45 there is an option in the bios that will automatically speed that up if u have an i7 i dont think it works well with i5s i cant remember what the option is called though. oddly enough i found out about it after reading about some guy complain that the option over clocked his ram

  19. 123italiano321 says:

    @hamsterwolf Nope, I have GEIL 1600mhz CL7 RAM. Hope that’s enough info :P

  20. hamsterwolf says:

    @123italiano321 im gona go ahead and guess that u have a set of g skill ripjaws

  21. LaczupakabraPL says:

    @olivierhacking Pretty good

  22. olivierhacking says:

    @LaczupakabraPL maybe, but i was planning on buying the revoltec freeze tower cpu cooler. is that one good as well? thanks

  23. LaczupakabraPL says:

    @KakimotoRift Yes but i use gigabyte board right now.

  24. LaczupakabraPL says:

    @olivierhacking Yes You need new cooler. Go with one of the Arctic Cooling pro 7 coolers. They are great for the price and will be good to start OC. Good luck

    PS: Use good thermal paste! Artic Silver 5 will be very good.

  25. olivierhacking says:

    hey, i have an i7 860 and planning to overclock it 3.4ghz-3.6ghz with the standard cpu cooler. do i neeed a special cooler, or is the standard fine?
