Double check the temps on the GPU and CPU – also – what card do you have and what OS and how much ram? I will try to help you but you will have a lot of work on your hands as a beginner and try to be patient.

Power of the CPU and Memory are only 1 third of your Gaming Performance – Uber CPU and RAM with a low eng GPU – while trying to MAX OUT all settings will not work – try lowering all your settings for start.

And remember you need GPU power when playing games

Could anyone PLEASE help me! O.O
I’ve built my first PC recently, and my problem is that games such as COD BO and AC2 lags :S Not as in randomly lags, but constantly slow-mod.. Everytime I make a move, it will appear in lag.. when i turn, run, shoot; ALL the time..
What might the problem be? I’ve checked, and all my parts crushes the requirements that COD needs.. BUT; it seems that this processor is running very high at all 6 processors :S – I’m confused… please anyone :S

@realgadgetreviews One other question, what should i set the DCT to for the RAM? The options are: auto, 0, 1, or both.

Awesome video. My 1055t 95w version should be here in less than 30 minutes. I will attempt to use the same settings you did however I am using a gigabyte ma770xud4p and it is about the same. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks man.

I am happy to hear that! RAM can work at 1666 with no issue at all – especially if you bought a newer kit of DDR3. With the AMD Platform you are not limited to the voltage restrictions of Intel so you can give it extra voltage

DDR3 works at 1.5v by default, usually never set above 1.65 by the manufacture, so increasing voltage on the ram is possible, but probably not even necessary. 1.5v to 1.65 will give you all the voltage you need to be stable at 1666mhz

thank you very much, worked for me! I got mine to 3.5 ghz and 1666 mhz for my ram which used to be 1333mhz, is there anythng i should be worried about with going to those speeds with my ram? Also my max temp with prime95 was 64 degrees celcius. I plan on buying a new cooler within a month so im sure it should be fine until then.

would the over clock procedure be similar on other mobo’s? I’m ordering a asus M4N75TD 750A AM3 DDR3 SLI mobo, and a 1055t cpu, right now I have a gigabyte mobo and a phenom II 965 x 4 at 4ghz and a gtx 480, i’m looking for a slight upgrade

Anthing cooler than 70c is okay, but the cooler the better of course…

If I remember correctly OCCT shuts down if the CPU hits 80c, so really 60c is perfectly fine. I would not run it hotter than 70c, so if your OC is going over 70c ever – I would get better cooling – Thks for watching and good luck!

@realgadgetreviews Thanks! I got it to run at 3.8 ghz. When I run prime 95, the max temp is 60c. Is that a safe range? The min. temp is 20c. What would be a dangerous range?

the memory is DDR2 rated to run at 800MHz

The Multiplyer was x4, and I decreased it to x3. so its running at 833MHz

Thats a little bit of an OC – but not much.

The setting in the memory area should be left to "UnGanged"

Thks for watching & good luck!

@gix10000 sounds like it could be your power-supply, once you overclock past 3.4GHz on the 1055T the power requirements go way way up

AsRock is the same company as ASUS but AsRock is the lower end, while ASUS is the top of the line premium line.

The CPU and a nice ASUS board are a great choice and very affordable – go for it!
