I am not totally sure which card to get right now I was expecting better from the 6970 I feel the 6950 is the better of the two at this moment mainly down to price. I wont be upgrading until Feb time anyway but the 570 does have my interest and I feel prices may fall a little more by then. Still I feel either card would be a good buy but if Nvidia have a 560 out by the time I upgrade it might well be two of those so long as the price is right.
i thought it was going to be closer to a 580 than a 570 or 480…looks like it’s going to be a 580 replacing my 5830 after all

after looking at the prices and performance, it seems that 6850 CF is a lot better
At this point, I am completely unbiased towards ATi or NVIDIA. I believe both are great competitors however I feel ATi was became too egotistical when it came to the 6970. The 6870 is a great price/ performance GPU, however the 6970 currently looks as if it is incapable of competing with the 580. I understand the price difference, but price has no importance to enthusiasts and if a GPU company is going to make a top-of-the-line product, why not go for the moon? I’m considering a 570 right now.
