   After a little over a year the o-ring gave up and the fluid leaked over the mobo and vid card on mine.

   @trubritar Phenom II x4 965 b.e.; I didn’t like the price to performance ratio for the i7 965. And I’m an avid OC’er so I don’t care for the i7′s locked clock speed… Maybe I should build a system around an i7 and do some comparative benchmarks, just for the hell of it.

   Hi there,

   Yes, you can still install it using the newer revised mounting bracket.

   I have a question, i just opened my package from koolance, with this water block, but mine didn’t come with those pivot balls..can i still install it or do i need them?

   LOL, my coolmaster CPU fan/heatsink keeps my AMD Phenom 4x quadcore stock 2.42GHz at 42-44 C. it is way bigger and has two fans on it too…and yes i know this is running at higher GHz.

   i want to build a liquid cooled PC some day. i think they are cool. my only hesetation is the chance of a tiny leak costing me hundreds of dollars in components. i do love the cooling power and look of liquid cooling with UV reflective tubes and UV lights.

    well you don’t really need a 4fan radiator.

    3fan provides 1000w of heat dissipation, which is plenty enough for running a system like that liquid cooled.
