    @IAMCJ1 But with irish taxes etc, it always seems more than the dollar figure. i know the euro is worth more than the dollar lol, but it always seems to be like 50% more.

    I’ve owned a netbook and believe me, a desktop OS on underpowered hardware makes for a mediocre experience. I think the iPad does the basics better than a netbook, although you can do more on a netbook.

    A little pricey for a netbook indeed. Hmm… $450 for a netbook or $499 for an iPad? You can do more technically with a netbook, but the iPad is just so damn sleek!
