@AnaemicSardine Overclocking would just give you a couple extra FPS u might want to research is before attempting.
Which tool do you like better, afterburner or precision?
@VeryCoolMax Yeah its a good deal, but I would try to stay away from a psu that comes in a case. to be honest i never heard of Sirtec and i don’t know how reliable this model is. Most of the time these psu’s that come with a case normally will die early and can have power irregularities. I have heard more bad than good. if I were you i would stick with the thermaltake, but if you find good reviews then it should work. But i wouldn’t recommend it because it would most likely have a short life.
@BoltActionTech I just saw that the SIRTEC High Power HPC-500-H12S 500W + Aerocool AeroEngine II – BBP Plastic Front Door Black is just for 85 $ that is super cheap how do you think will this PSU be eniugh for the athlon II x4 640 + 4gb + gtx 460 . sorry for asking about help again )
@AnaemicSardine better fps/ gameplay smoothness / the down side is lowering the life spam of the video card
@AnaemicSardine hmm no, you can play crysis pretty good at veryhigh with the stock settings
does gtx 460 have to be overclocked to play crysis?
what is overclocking usefull to?
@VeryCoolMax The Thermaltake TR2 RX 550W would be perfect because it was 2 pci-e connectors as well as enough power to give you room for updates in the future. I would choose the thermaltake over the coolermaster.
@BoltActionTech Hey how do you think Thermaltake TR2 RX 550W will be enough?
@BoltActionTech tnx man . But the one bad thing that i’m buying the hole PC
@VeryCoolMax I wouldn’t get the 460w coolermaster because it only has one pci-e connector, and on the GTX 460 you need two. Most card venders will give you a molex to pci-e connector, but I wouldn’t recommend it because the performance of the card can be affected by a low or unstable power supply. A good psu = a happy computer
. For this card look for a solid vender like OCZ or Thermaltake or CM that have 500w and have 2 pci-e connectors. If you have any questions just leave a comment
@Japanorama Yeah I pushed to 875mhz on the core, and 2250 (double pumped) on the memory. Your card does have the upper advantage because it has a pretty nice cooler on it.
@Japanorama yeah maxed core I received was 875mhz and 2250 (double pumped) with the memory. Of course all card will clock differently. You do have an upper advantage because the cooling on the gigabyte model is pretty good.
It’s almost like your but 1tb Samsung
how do u think the 460 coolermaster psu will be enough for this system?
my gtx 460 reaches 900mhz and temp cool. is a gigabyte mind you, you can totally push that thing farther
muhahahaha i have got 470 gtx from ASUS
@sasfox547 With Fraps I get like 15-20 frames per second, but without I get around 30-35 frames per second.
@trancecat909 Well I recorded this using Fraps so the gameplay isn’t directly from the monitor. Regardless though I do have a decent monitor. I have a LG W2361V 1920×1080 and a 2ms response time.
@BoltActionTech
The picture is awesome. What monitor are you using? Thanks.
@hellowsaw What I learned from Raid 0 is that it is overall faster, but the first time you load a game it takes a while probably because of the RAM. But lets say you load another level after everything is on the RAM, then it loads much faster.
how many are the frap
even in raid 0 it takes so slow to load?
@MetalPower86 LOL you can never have enough with a 23 inch monitor
