I hav P5KPL-CM and an e2180, with an Asus Silent Knight . i can go beyond 2.2 ghz. If i go i see blue screen of death, And sometimes even in 2.2 ghz d pc becomes unstable. Can u tell me the reason plz.
i go to advanced but it aint there:(
It is in the area listed in bios as shown in this video.
how do you get the jumperfree bit on your BIOS?
i got the same cpu but i got a ati 4670 video card.
7600GT – says in the video info
how much was your motherboard
What kind of Graphics card do you have?
My MSI P965 Have Limited OC Because i have just to change FSB only No PCI Freq Or Vcore Voltage.
i was have to decide get ASUS or GigaByte alternative MSI .
wich is better this or the athlon 64×2 5000+?
My E2160 does 2.7 GHz on stock voltage, I know I can get well over 3 GHz from it, but my mobo is somewhat limited in the OC department. (P5KPL-E, low cost version of P5K).
i am geting that cpu and with a foxconn mother board wich i can change the fsba mutipler but i want to over clock on stock colling could i get 2.4 or 2;5
With good cooling and a nice board should get to 2.8-3.2 stable.
did u try undervoltage ?
i am buying the e2180 and i just wanna know how to overclock it safely (to which ghz)
it is 2.0 stock [duhh]
It is safe from 101-115 any higher and bad things happen. Will shorten card as well as PCI-E slot life. Seen someone crank it to 125mhz for a while and burnt out his PCI-E slot.
Don’t up your Pci-e frequency
will fry your card eventually. keep at 100
I set it to that to eliminate instability from the CPU while boosting FSB as high as I can had it set to 1.4c sometimes just depends on multi I am testing and clock of CPU once I get going.
thats too much volts at 2.2ghz
1.36v
idiot
