this cooler are amazinga, the boring is to install at AMD platform

  11. 666poor says:

    How about the temperature ?

  12. Deluxeta says:

Personally, I wouldn’t call that difficult to install but dis-recommending it just because it’s a little bit tricky to install is really stupid. Avoid dissing a great product like this.

WHen I installed this thing, it didn’t tell me to use the spongy washers on the LGA setup.

But I saw him do it on this video and I think to myself, gee thats why im not able to get under 55degrees celsius.

Also, Im concerned with tightening too much, I can see even in the video the M-B PCB is slightly bent at 8:58

whats a cooler thats the same but is easier to install?

  15. bogellenong says:

@Metalozedex oh i see, thanks lol, i just realized that this cooler doesnt support i5. I was seing this video before i upgraded my processor to i5, before i have core 2 quad which as you know, supported this cooler cuz its lts a 775

  17. Metalozedex says:

yeah it’s worth it, this cooler is probably gonna drop like 30 degrees cels.
    but since I5 is lga 1156, this V8 only supports LGA 1366, 775, am2, am2+, am3
but trust me there’s many other good coolers at same price or less

  18. bogellenong says:

@Metalozedex i see. I have another question, is it worth it to buy custom cpu cooler like this if im not overclocking? I did use my pc for gaming though. I have i5 750 and as you know the intel turbo boost auto overclock always there whenever i play games which increase my temperature quite high especially while using single/dual core processors since it goes as high as 3.2ghz

  19. Metalozedex says:

it is best to buy one, cause the ones that come with it are not always good.

  20. Metalozedex says:

    no, not 1156

    775
    AM2
    AM2+
    LGA 1366
    Socket AM3

  21. 719OG says:

So what coolers do you recommend?… i need to know

  22. bogellenong says:

sorry im noob but when you buy cpu cooler, do you have to buy that paste thinggy that you but between the cooler and the processor? or do u get the paste thinggy when you buy the cpu cooler

  23. cristian4anime2 says:

Will it go on a 1156 motherbord? do they give you the right brackets? how long is it on the motherboard?
