Me and my friend cooking bacon on an 11 year old Athlon 1600+ processor. These things do not have an IHS and do not have a thermal limit (cut out that stops the CPU overheating) so it keeps getting hotter and hotter! Unfortunately the CPU is now dead, we wanted to have a go at blowing it up, but it is non-functioning now 
can you please tell me how you power up your motherboard? Would you need any hard drives, etc..?
