    it’s called a heatsink
    anyway socket A cpus have clems for theyr heatsinks
    use a screw driver or something to get it off

    @nelizmastr It has no screws it is ‘sealed in place’ as I have said previously.

    thats called a CPU heatsink. undo the screws and pop it off.

    then clean the thermal paste of of it, and re apply it when done.

    AMD has the marketing to cal the Processor of the Power of an Intel Processor.

    This means, an AMD Sempron 2200+ is equal of the speed to a Intel Celeron with 2.2 Ghz.

    The Amd processor stil runs at 1.5 Ghz but is fast than a 2.2 ghz Intel.
