The 6900 series were not built to battle the 500 series Nvidia cards, due to Nvidia being very secretive regarding the 500 series, AMD actually made these cards to compete with the 400 series Nvidia cards not knowing about the 500 series,and the 580 still out does the 6900 series because of this and shows this in many benchmarks, with the exception of F1 2010 which the HD 6900 did very very well in, now dont think im being anti AMD since my CPU is an AMD and i own an AMD GPU.
