    Which to get,x6 1090t or the x4 970?

@aiZFate Phenoms cannot disable cores dinamicaly to improve performance on the active ones. Anyway, games and hardware are a strong market, some games runs better on intel just because they were programmed to do so, the same happens to the GPU´s (look at crysis, you can run it on a GF 9800gt and you have a bugged experience with an ATI HD4870)
Games made for intel runs better on intel. For the price/performance I´m still with AMD, and no, I´m not an AMD fanboy, intel is still a great choice.

im new to the overclocking scene and I have this cpu. I went into the bios changed my voltage to 1.45 and all core multiplier to 20.5 to get it at 4.1 ghz and it always crashes and never runs stable? I had it at 3.9 for an hour and at 100% load I hit about 43 max temp with water cooling. I am using the settings you said were stable and they are not stable for me? Why? Please send me a pm I need some help with my cpu :c

  6. MrEverybody6264 says:

  18. aztechnotronic says:

can i ask if AMD going to launch a new hexa core processor above the 1090T version?im thinking of building a new system…your reply is very much appreciated…TQ

  19. AndrewEldritch says:

@Js1oFreestyle You dont need a new one, just wait for AM3+ or even AMD4 to come out before upgrading.

  20. AndrewEldritch says:

@mrjamesb562 Defenitely for a mid term investment. Very few games take advantage of more than 4 cores. BF Bad company 2 is one of them. The 1055 has much lower clock speed and wouldnt perform as fast as the 970, not by a long stretch. Just make sure your GPU isnt a bottleneck though.

  21. altf4nubs says:

4 people only got to 4ghz

  22. mrjamesb562 says:

So #PCWizKid ,Would You Recommend this 970 BE over a 1055 x6 ???, they are Close in Price…

  23. GenusCastor says:

Also a 100mhz extra (as this goes to 4.1Ghz for sure and 4Ghz would be the easy clock on the 965) will really not matter that much on the grand scale of things, also your game benchmark is a bit misleading with the overlay of the letters (would have preferd a graph + show test length) it just makes things unclear. All in all a average review.

  24. GenusCastor says:

965 would be better value for money since it will run 4Ghz with a Mugen 2 anyway, and added to that bulldozer is comming out within a few months and its going to blow this away ;)
