@GenieInAFantaBottle to put it in perspective, I have a AMD phenom 9850 quadcore black edition cpu, 2.5 GHz and runs with 125 watts. I dont have a graphics card, it just runs on the integrated video chipset (ati radeon hd 2000 series).

in other words it should be fine.

I’m seriously thinking about getting this CPU but I’m not sure that it will work well with my graphic card. Someone at the store told me that my graphic card is not good enough to support this CPU and i wont be able to use the CPU to it’s max. is this true?? my graphic card is an radeon hd 3800, its 512mb, the core runs at 680MHz, it has a bandwidth of 53GB/s and a texture/pixel fill rate of 10.7GB/s.

Plz respond to this as soon as possible, i really need some advice. Thanks!
