Yeah right… Nowadays games using more cores, and 4 cores of athlon is better then 2 cores of phenom, even if it’s black edition. If you only watching at mb-caches then i don’t know what say to you.. Probably – go and learn something about computers.
@dominiquejr1 Oh and to you, The athlon II X4 (X4 being the key term here IS A QUAD CORE) Oh and there are also PHENOM dual cores and TRIPLE CORES Phenom II 555 = Dual core 955 = Quad core 750 = Triple core.
Same goes for the Athlon II processors Single, Dual, Triple, Quad
@happyguy215 The phenom has 2mb of L2 cache too…. And it also has a 6mb of level 3 cache the athlon II doesn’t have an L3 cache, stop wandering around giving people false information.
@dominiquejr1 phenom will outperform the quad core because it has more L2 cache. phenom 6mb and athlon 2mb

@scvs2 athlon ii x4 cause its a quad core (4 cores) and the phenom is a dual core (2 cores)

@AznGoesWild With the earlier ones you could have when they were just phenom denebs with no L3 cache but i doubt it now.
