    @Morganhesketh I don’t think you need water cooling because this chip runs pretty cool. But the cooler that it comes with is pretty weak. I would spend $20-$30 and get a nice aftermarket cpu cooler. Thanks for posting!

  11. Morganhesketh says:

    do you recommend buying a better fan or water cooler rather than the default 1

    @alex75877
    In games like GTA IV, Battlefield BC 2 and Mafia 2 definitevily yes, and of course if you make much multitasking.

    Hello there, i believe we can ask you questions about overclockking this thing??? LOL JK.. Well i have one… I plan to pickupa biostar 780l motherboard which has a 710 south bridge and i was wondering since it has A.C.C., whether i could enable it and unlock the 6mb L3 cache thus coverting it into a full fledged phenom 2 x4… Thanks

    Do you think this would have much improvement over the Athlon II X2 250.

    @cal22583 I to am buying this CPU and a radeon 5770 along with a new power supply. I also have 4GB of ram to haha. I just want it to be able to run high end games with a good FPS. As long as it can keep me set for some future games im fine. Do you know if those upgrades will run high end games smoothly? (and this isnt budget upgrade for me, all together its costing me $570)
