  4. DE4THF1RE says:

    im getting GTX 460 graphics card for my athlon 2 would that be a good idea?

  5. eteknix says:

    @meamrandom It all depends on your budget but i’m a big fan of the Radeon 5770 as it’s fantastic performance wise for the price. All depends on your budget though.

    @eteknix Sorry I was half asleep then :L it says it on the packet that it runs all Athlon II processors, my bad. Also whats a good budget buy graphics card for stuff like new Call of Duty’s/Medal of Honour basically new games because I’m going to build my first ever computer at Christmas and I really don’t want it to be bad. (:

  7. eteknix says:

    @meamrandom Yes it will :)

  8. meamrandom says:

    @eteknix Will it work with the ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO ATX Bios? Thanks for uploading this.

  9. eteknix says:

    @K1ngSarOs Yes dependant on your board you may need to upgrade the BIOS.

    Andy

  10. K1ngSarOs says:

    can it fit in a AM2+ ??

  11. eteknix says:

    @J0Nramirez Yes it is, as i used it for a while, but obviously a quad core would be quicker at rendering.

    Andy

  12. J0Nramirez says:

    Is this good for video editing and film making?

  13. eteknix says:

    @coolnirdz AMD do develop CPU’s into laptops, but not all of them.

  14. coolnirdz says:

    is this processor for desktop only or laptop or both

  15. eteknix says:

    @mrjamesb56 I can get this past 4GHz easily, and still for a fraction of an Intel.

  16. mrjamesb56 says:

    An intel e5400 that easily Over clocks past 4ghz buries that AMD cpu in Gaming …

  17. ikcti says:

    Just a small correction, 45nm ain’t latest technology :P
    Awesome review. Right now I prefer your reviews since 3dgm removed comments :(

  18. kidowner says:

    @hootis8 oh i c.. thx

  19. eteknix says:

    @hootis8 Indeed, AMD will be investing in this technology in 2011.

  20. hootis8 says:

    Most of the 255 and triple cores now are purely their own core design, and amd has a good amount of these so i dont think that there going to be putting the quads / or phenoms(l3 cashe on the Athlon IIx4′s) in that position any more

  21. hootis8 says:

    @kidowner latest for amd only intel and a few memory companys got 32 its not general use yet

  22. 360esteban says:
