    @lightningsmokerXx lol i know he was on carpet with long pants on sitting moving around on the carpet then touching the cpu without grounding himself lol he could have blown the place up

  6. lightningsmokerXx says:

    @kris7848 thermal grease, compound, paste is already applied on the heat sinks today. It used to be they weren’t. Makes it really easy when it’s new out of the box.

  8. arcadefirerocks says:

    @linkinparkVStatu The thermal paste should’ve been pre-applied on the heatsink at the AMD factory.

  14. Georgefromaccounting says:

    What are your full system specs? My lan pc is similar. It consists of an amd 250, 2gigs of ddr2, asus m68, and a 9800gt, all in a apevia case with a antec 550watt psu.

  15. unokilo321 says:

    is that the Gigabyte GA-M68MT-D3 ? i’m thinking about getting the same cpu and mobo for my next budget build and pairing it with a msi gts 450 cyclone :)

    @kris7848
    The thermal grease was already applied under the heatsink. There was no need to apply it unless you want third party thermal grease

    Google "Pre applied thermal grease" to see what it looks like

  21. kris7848 says:

    Hey, did you not apply any thermal grease?
    Just wondering im getting the II X2 260 next week.

  22. Georgefromaccounting says:
